Description of Meditation Modules

  1. Energy: Designed for quick energy boosts and mental refocus through guidance at a slightly brisker pace, available in 3, 5, and 8-minute intervals.
  2. Relaxation: Focuses on calming breathing rhythms with added attention to exhalation to release tension; ideal for reducing anxiety and the fight-or-flight response, offered in 5, 8, and 12-minute sessions.
  3. Sleep: Incorporates slowing guidance and relaxation techniques such as body scans and elements of Yoga Nidra to promote deep rest. Sessions range from 10 to 30 minutes.

Application Usage Tips

  • If the app display appears distorted, switch from Zoom to Standard mode within Settings under Display & Brightness > View.
  • Select your preferred language—Swedish or English—and restore it by reinstalling if necessary.
  • The app allows offline use by downloading exercises; it can operate in airplane mode.
  • Guided sessions can be enjoyed with or without background music.

About the Creator

I am Madeleine Hådén, a licensed psychotherapist based in Sweden. After years working in psychiatry, I experienced burnout but found renewal through yoga and meditation. This inspired me to explore how breathing and focused attention can deeply influence mental states.

In 2006, I developed a group-based method for teaching mindfulness meditation, which has evolved into specialized programs for individuals dealing with anxiety and depression—programs highly valued by participants.

Many clients have requested meditations developed by me for use outside therapy settings, leading to the creation of BiMi. I am grateful for the insights shared through my work with mindfulness practitioners and thank all those who contributed to this project.
